Strategic Partners in Commerce and Entrepreneurship: SPICE
─────────────────
The Lucas-Kennedy Foundation created the SPICE Program to recognize the critical role women play in economic development and address the persistent lack of support they face as entrepreneurs. SPICE empowers and accelerates women-led businesses in Africa by fostering collaboration, investment, and growth opportunities, while also building meaningful partnerships with American women-led enterprises to create a transcontinental bridge for shared prosperity. Through access to capital, tailored advisory and technical support, capacity building, mentorship, and collaborative investment models, SPICE equips African women entrepreneurs with the tools, resources, and networks they need to thrive.
With a strong focus on innovation-driven enterprises across high-growth sectors—including light manufacturing, telecommunications, agri-tech, financial technology, data communications, and information technology—the program transforms challenges into opportunities, advancing a stronger ecosystem for women-led businesses in both Africa and the United States.
